Research LAB website
Welcome to Dr. Alvaro Muñoz Castro Lab, at Universidad Autónoma de Chile (www.uautonoma.cl).
Our research underlies electronic structure and related molecular properties for organic, inorganic and organometallic systems, employing theoretical methods. We focus on several molecular properties such as, bonding nature, optical, luminescence, magnetic response, among others, including synthetic procedure.
We are currently engaged on Superatoms, Ligand-Protected Clusters, Polyaromatic Hydrocarbons, Fullerenes, Endohedral structures, Long-ranged magnetic behavior, Host-Guest systems, Gold-Graphene interactions, etc..
Open Lab Positions.
Visits to our place are welcome, previous to set a workplan with expected results.
